Volunteer Opportunities

Interview Attire Program

All services are provided by volunteer “wardrobe consultants” who are trained to work one-on-one with clients. One of our core objectives—to treat each client with dignity and respect—is realized by each volunteer. All volunteers undergo a thorough screening process that includes an application, interview, and reference check. While we seek volunteers with prior retail experience, it is not required. We provide training and shadowing until volunteers are ready to work with clients. Volunteers are also responsible for sorting donated clothing. Each volunteer typically serves one shift (typically four to six hours) per week.

Bridge to Employment

We seek volunteers with extensive human resource experience and are qualified to help clients translate past employment into relevant job skills.

We need volunteers to conduct mock interviews and evaluate clients. All interested volunteers must complete an application, come for an interview and undergo a reference check.
